Greetings from the "High Country" of northwestern North Carolina!

Having grown up in Wisconsin, then moving to Florida during high school, I am what is
know here in the mountains as a "half-back." I wear the term proudly, as it indicates that
I understand the specific concerns that newcomers to this area may have.
During my " free" time, I enjoy playing at golf, singing in a choir, reading, and amateur
photography. I've also become a fan of cruising. I'm a charter member of the Blue Star
Mothers of the High Country - doing what I can to support my three children and others
from this area as they protect our freedoms.
